Arrest made in hit-and-run death of Brunswick teen

Police announced an arrest in the hit-and-run death of an 18-year-old Brunswick woman.

Tashara Culbreath was found dead on U.S. 17 just south of Palmera Lane early in the morning on Sept. 16.

Jefferey Herrington, 51, of Michigan was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol and Glynn County Police Department. Herrington is charged with one felony count of leaving the scene of an accident involving death.

On Tuesday, a $7,500 reward was offered for information leading to an arrest in Culbreath's death.
