FHP: Prescribed burn may limit driver visibility in Baker County

SANDERSON, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is monitoring smoke along State Road 2, near Nation Forest 295 that came about as a result of a controlled fire.

The smoky conditions may hinder driver visibility.

Motorists in the area are advised to reduce speed and utilize low beam headlights to navigate in the area. Doing so will help avoid collisions, especially during the early morning and night.
