Bear sighting in downtown Fort Myers

People heading to a Fort Myers restaurant were stopped in their tracks by a bear spending his weekend in a tree.

The 175-pound black bear made its way into the downtown area Saturday and decided to take a break.

He climbed right up into a tree behind a popular waterfront restaurant.

Although it was a little concerning, the restaurant owner took it all in stride.
