Jacksonville, Fl — Morning temperatures that were 10 - 20 degrees cooler than Wednesday will quickly warm to the mid 70s today with an abundant amount of sunshine.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says it won’t be as windy as yesterday but still breezy with winds out of the east at 10 - 15 mph.
Overnight won’t be as chilly as this morning and the afternoon will be even warmer with temperatures climbing to the low to mid 80s before a line of showers and a few rumbles of thunder approach after 2 - 3 pm. THE PLAYERS should remain dry through at least 3 pm if not later.

If there are any delays in the afternoon there should be no trouble catching up early Saturday as the weekend is dry and cooler with wall-to-wall sunshine and temperatures in the 70s.
Another chance for rain returns early next week.
