17-year-old seriously injured after crash involving tractor trailer in Bradford County

GRAHAM, Fla. — A 17-year-old is seriously injured after crashing into a tractor trailer on County Road 18 Saturday evening, Florida Highway Patrol reported.

According to FHP, the tractor trailer was blocking both lanes of CR 18, backing into SW 118th Lane, when the driver of a pickup truck traveling eastbound on CR 18 did not see the tractor trailer and as a result collided with the trailer.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 17-year-old male from Starke, has serious injuries, FHP reported.

The passenger of the pickup truck, an 18-year-old from Keystone Heights and the driver of the tractor trailer, a 30-year-old from Brooker, were both uninjured.

The FHP report stated that all occupants were wearing seat belts, and that this is an open case with charges pending.
