Bradford County Sheriff’s Office warns community of deadly drugs

BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. — The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office put out a warning of a potential deadly narcotic threat.

Deputies say they found what looked like marijuana tested positive for a strong synthetic opioid, possibly Fentanyl.

Bradford County deputies are investigating an incident where this drug was used. Two individuals have been hospitalized and believed to have taken this possible deadly drug.

Dozen of similar reports have been reported around the country, and dozens of deaths have been connected to the drug.

The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to help assist them in the investigation. If you know where the drug is being sold or know someone that is selling it you are asked to contact the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at (904)966-6380.
