COVID-19: Brantley County High School transitions to distance learning

BRANTLEY COUNTY, Ga. — Brantley County High School will transition to distance learning on Nov. 19 and 20 after increased COVID-19 cases, the school district announced Wednesday afternoon.

Students will transition to distance learning using Google Classroom.

The district said the decision was made to decrease the spread of COVID-19 among students and staff.

Custodians and staff will clean and disinfect the school Nov. 19 and 20.

Students will return to school after Thanksgiving break, Monday, Nov 30.

Brantley County High School is the only school that will transition to virtual learning.
