JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The JSO SWAT team is in the same neighborhood as the triple shooting that left a teenager dead.

JSO SWAT is in a Northwest Jacksonville neighborhood where they say three people were shot overnight.

During a briefing Friday morning, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said three people were found shot in a vehicle around 2 a.m. near Verbena Street.
When police arrived, a patrol car stopped a vehicle -- as it was speeding away from the area.

Police said of the four men in the vehicle, three were shot. They were transferred to a hospital, where one of the shooting victims died.
The mother of the victim killed tells Action News Jax he was her 17-year-old son.
She believes her son was targeted and says two days ago, he was shot outside a home.

The other two men who were shot were released from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to JSO.
