Car break-ins in Green Cove Springs neighborhood

Green Cove Springs police are investigating a rash of car break-ins that took place Saturday night in the Magnolia West Sub-division in Clay County.

“I never thought it would happen here,” says neighbor Karen Milligan whose car was stolen. “They attempted to steal from all of these houses on the street and behind us,”

Milligan says she and her family got home late and closed the garage door but the door - unknown to her - went back up because it hit some Christmas decorations. She also accidentally left her keys in the car.
