CCSO: Tuesday Morning plaza in Orange Park all clear after bomb threat

The Clay County Sheriff's Office is doing a precautionary check on a possible bomb threat that is not believed by authorities to be credible.

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff's Office shut down the Tuesday Morning Plaza in Orange Park for nearly two hours on Friday night as they investigated a bomb threat and then deemed the area safe. 

Deputies closed off the parking lot and told shoppers to leave the stores during the investigation. CCSO also urged motorists to avoid the 300 block of Blanding Boulevard near Blairmore Boulevard.

CCSO spokesperson Mary Justino said investigators believed the threat was not credible, but investigated as a precaution.
