City Councilman Bill Gulliford drops mayoral bid

Former City Council president Bill Gulliford tells Action News he no longer wants to run for mayor.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — City Councilman Bill Gulliford tells Action News he is no longer interested in running for mayor in 2015.

Instead, he said, he will concentrate all of his efforts on pursuing another term for City Council.

Gulliford served as president of City Council from 2013-2014 with Clay Yarborough as vice president.
