Missing Clay County man with Down Syndrome found safe, police say

10:15 a.m. UPDATE: Luckie Gerald Harvey has been located safely, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

Clay County deputies are searching for a missing 51-year-old man with Down Syndrome.

Luckie Gerald Harvey was last seen in the 6300 block of Cascade Drive at 8:45 a.m. Thursday.

Harvey was wearing brown shorts, black shirt, sandals and a white hat.

"Due to Mr. Harvey having Down Syndrome, with the mental capacity of a young teenager, he is considered to be in danger," the Clay County Sheriff's Office said.

He is described as a white man with brown eyes and gray hair. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 210 pounds.

Anyone with information on Harvey's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
