The Columbia County Schools began contacting parents the week of July 13 with a survey to learn how their student plans to return to school this fall. The district said the survey will help provide information to assist schools with staffing.
Parents can choose from the following options:
- Traditional instruction
- Virtual instruction via Columbia Homeroom
- Distance learning
The 2020-2021 school year was originally scheduled to begin on Aug. 10 but was pushed back to Aug. 24. The district says it will have health and safety precautions in place.
