LAKE CITY, Fla. — The pilot of a small plane died after the aircraft crashed into a Lake City home Saturday, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
The family members inside a home where the plane crashed are safe.

According to the National Transportation Safety Board, over 50 calls to 911 were made regarding the incident.
