Cupid's Undie Run is coming to Jacksonville Saturday, Feb. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Cupid's Fun Run is a party with a "brief" run in the middle of it. The goal: find a cure for neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that affects one in every 3,000 children.
The run takes place at The Green Turtle Tavern at 14 S. 3rd St., Fernandina Beach, and costs $40 to register.
Cupid's Charity encourages running in undies, but if you do not want to wear your underwear, costumes are great too.
In 2010, a group of do-gooders dropped their pants and ran through the D.C. cold to raise money for research to help end neurofibromatosis, a rare genetic disorder that can cause tumors to grow anywhere on or in the body. In 2012, Cupid’s Charity became a recognized nonprofit and since its inception has raised over $14,500,000.
