Deadly Fernandina Beach house fire under investigation

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — A Fernandina Beach house fire that killed three people appears to be accidental, according to investigators.

The exact cause of the fire over the weekend hasn't been determined, but investigators said they have some idea.

Crews arrived at the home on Leo Drive Sunday morning and found two men and a woman dead inside.

Investigators said the man who lived in the home was a smoker, and also relied on oxygen tanks. It’s possible that may have contributed to the cause, but it’s still under investigation.
