JACKSONVILLE — A vaccination site that was once giving out close to 2,000 shots a day is now in the lower hundreds.
Action News Jax, Meghan Moriarty, requested the breakdown of numbers for shots given out this week.
April 19: 624 shots (only 2nd doses available)
April 20: 550 shots (216 1st doses, 334 2nd doses)
April 21: 413 shots (135 1st doses, 278 2nd doses)
“I think a lot of people have been vaccinated already,” Mark Brady, FEMA Public Information Officer, said.
“Yes, while our numbers are low and a little bit discouraging it’s not discouraging us from continuing to make a difference in people’s lives.”
