Dozens of jobs up for grabs between two Jacksonville job fairs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Dozens of jobs are up for grabs between two job and career fairs in Northeast Florida today.

  • The first job fair is for those searching for careers in the construction and manufacturing industries.

CareerSource is hosting a hiring fair in partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville and the Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. They say the event brings construction companies and manufacturers looking for workers at all levels, from entry-laborers to engineers.

American Lighting, FDOT’s OnBoard4Jobss Constructions Career Program, JINKO SOLAR INDUSTRIES Inc, Miller Electric are just some of the employers that have committed to the event.

The event starts goes from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at FSCJ Deerwood’s campus. 
  • The second event is the Jacksonville Career Fair at the Jacksonville Marriott Florida Room on Salisbury Road.

Jobseekers will get the opportunity to meet employers face to face and even get hired on the spot.

Employers scheduled to attend include Air Force Reserve, Venus Fashion, Digital Reception Service, Bates Security and more.

Associate swim designer, production coordinator, junior programmer, and project managers are just a few of the job opportunities up for grabs at the event.

The career fair starts at 11:00 am and goes until 2:00 pm.
