The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a reported crash on Hodges and Danforth early Wednesday morning between a car and a Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department truck.
JSO said during a briefing that JFRD was responding to a small brush fire on the side of Hodges Blvd early Wednesday morning and as they were leaving the scene, a vehicle struck the firetruck.

JSO said the firetruck had it's lights on.
The driver of the vehicle and two JFRD crew were taken to a hospital where the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead.
JSO identified the driver as 30-year-old Juan Toledo of Neptune Beach.
JSO is continuing to investigation the accident.
