Back to Class: Free breakfast, lunch to be provided at 124 DCPS schools

Access to healthy meal options

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For some families, school provides education and access to a healthy meal. According to Duval County Public Schools, free breakfast and lunch will be provided at 124 DCPS schools.

QUICK FACTS:

  • For middle/high school students on a hybrid schedule, on the days they are attending school at the school location, they can pick up their meals for the days they will be attending school online. These meals will be frozen with heat-and-serve instructions. Pick up time and locations are determined by each school.
  • Duval Homeroom (Distance learning students): The school district says they can pick up school meals at their school of enrollment.
  • If your child is enrolled in full-time virtual learning (DVIA), they are not eligible for meal service.
