Florida Race Day announced Valentines Hot Chocolate Runs for American Heart Association

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida Race Day invites the Jacksonville community to take part in the Bartram Springs Valentines Hot Chocolate 3-mile and 1.5-mile Gpw Runs.

The race is open to runners, joggers, walkers, crawlers and hot chocolate lovers of all ages, and all proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association. It will take place Feb. 10 at the Batram Springs Amenity Center.

Racers will receive a ceramic Florida Race Day coffee mug, glow sticks and a sweet after run hot chocolate station. First timers will also receive a fun finisher medal as well

Florida Race Day is also having the option of the fastest couple of 3-mile race. A couple means just two people, but it can be spouses, friends, a parent and child, etc. In old school tradition, the couples’ race will be a baton relay. One goes first and passes baton to the second person as they start their leg.  Each runner runs 1.5 miles.
