Fourth of July changes you can expect at Duval County Beaches amid COVID-19

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — COVID-19 related safety precautions, like social distancing, are just a few of the major changes we’re going to see you this Fourth of July weekend in Duval County beaches.

There will be no fireworks display here in Jacksonville Beach or drinking inside bars.

Restaurants will still need to keep an eye on capacity limits.

The Mayors of Atlantic, Neptune and Jacksonville Beaches, spoke to Action News Jax on Friday reminding people to be safe. They say if you’re uncomfortable going to beach amid the pandemic, stay home.
