JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Many are dealing with the stress because of COVID-19, but for some people, this stress can be overwhelming for those with PTSD.
Action News Jax Phil Amato spoke with a Wounded Warrior representative and Air Force veteran to talk about the signs of PTSD and how to get help.
“When you start to feel disturbing thoughts, nightmares, hypervigilance, difficulty sleeping. Those are signs of PTSD. You should seek help and help is out there for you,” said Michael Richardson with the Wounded Warrior Project.
