Jacksonville construction sites remain active during coronavirus outbreak

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — According to the City of Jacksonville, here is a list of the public construction projects that are still underway right now:

• Coastline Drive & Liberty Street Bridge Replacement
• Cecil Commerce Center Mega Site Entrance Rd
• Lakeside Drive Bridge Replacement
• Shiloh Mill Blvd/Gate Pkwy Intersection & Gate Pkwy Fiber Optics
• Mandarin Rd/Orange Picker Rd Sidewalk Project
• The Landing Demolition
• Via Valencia Outfall Improvements

COJ says open construction sites are considered essential businesses.

Action News Jax Courtney Cole asked the city what’s being done to enforce social distancing on construction sites. She’s still waiting to hear back.
