Jacksonville International Auto Show returns this weekend: What to expect at the event this year

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Car fanatics, here’s some news you’ll love.

The Jacksonville International Auto Show, deemed North Florida’s largest new car show, is back in action!

Guests will get a chance to sit behind the steering wheel of more than 20 car lines and compare their features, options and stylings.

This year, people will also get to test drive Chevrolet cars such as the Camaro, Bolt and more at the show’s Ride and Drive event.

The show runs through this weekend from May 7-9 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

QUICK FACTS:

  • Show hours: 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday
  • Admission: $13 for adults, $9 for Seniors (65+), 5 for Military (with ID, must be purchased via credit cards onsite at Box Office), $6 for Children (6-12) and free for children under 6.
  • On opening day, May 7, Frontline heroes, first responders, EMTs, nurses, doctors, health care workers and active-duty military receive FREE admission with valid ID., for Active Military & Active First Responders Day.
  • There is no cost for parking.
  • Because of the pandemic, there will be spacing throughout the venue to allow for social distancing. Event organizers ask that attendees wear a mask while at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
