Jacksonville Public Education Fund will host virtual School Board candidate forums

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Public Education Fund will host virtual School Board candidate forums next week, offering voters an important opportunity to get informed before they cast ballots in four elections on August 18 or earlier.

JPEF’s virtual forums will take place via Zoom and Facebook Live next week, with one forum taking place each evening for each district that is up for election.

Questions will be sourced from the community as well as from the school leaders, teachers and parents JPEF supports through leadership initiatives. Details for the forums are:

· District 1, Monday, July 13, 6-8 p.m.

· District 3, Tuesday, July 14, 6-8 p.m.

· District 5, Wednesday, July 15, 6-8 p.m.

· District 7, Thursday, July 16, 6-8 p.m.
