Jaguars’ Gardner Minshew tells ESPN Jacksonville is the right amount of white trashiness for him

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguar Gardner Minshew appeared on the ESPN podcast Golic and Wingo and was not afraid to express his love for the River City.

“It’s been great, I think I kinda found my people in Jacksonville you know, just the right amount of white-trashiness for me,” Minshew said. “So we’re having a great time down there and lovin’ it.”

Minshew can be seen around town sporting a bandana tied around his head, cut-off denim shorts, aviators and to top it all off the mustache -- which even Minshew calls a little white trash.

Minshew was questioned on the podcast about fan pushback after the losing season where he said, “If you start sucking obviously there’s going to be push-back...the mustache looks pretty stupid at that point.”
