JFRD: Person pulled from apartment fire in Ortega Farms

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An apartment caught fire, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, in the 5100 block of Catoma Street Friday morning.

Crews say a disabled person was pulled from the building and taken to a nearby medical facility.

Action News Jax is working to learn that person’s condition. Firefighters were able to put the fire out.
