JSO: Road rage victim ‘bleeding profusely’ after shots fired in Arlington neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 25-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested early Wednesday morning in connection to a road rage shooting in Arlington.

According to the police report, Hunter Fletcher fired several shots at the victim during a road rage incident just after midnight Wednesday on Arlington Road.

Witnesses reported the suspect was driving aggressively, passed the victim, cut him off and then slammed his breaks. Police nearby on Rogero Road heard gunshots and later found the victim’s car on the side of Arlington Road.

The victim was driving a Honda Civic and police said they saw two bullet holes in the windshield, several bullet casings scattered on the road and the victim was “bleeding profusely” in the arm.

Police later spotted the suspect on Merrill Road and pulled him over. Hunter Fletcher was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He was booked in jail on a $300,000 bond and is expected in court on April 14.
