JTA, Uber partner for new program that provides free rides to COVID-19 vaccine sites

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JTA and Uber have partnered for a new program aimed to help people who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine yet.

The program offers 4,000 free rides to participants to go to any vaccine site.

A voucher will be given to participants in neighborhoods with limited transportation. The voucher will allow recipients to travel to a vaccination site and back at no cost.
