Free meals for Nassau County students

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — Free meals have been extended for all children 18 and under that are students of Nassau County Schools.

The USDA has extended nationwide waivers allowing schools to extend summer programs to feed all children free meals through December. This includes any student enrolled in Nassau schools during regular breakfast and lunch times on campus Monday-Friday.

All other children 1-18 years old, including siblings, school-based distance learners, virtual school or home school will be offered curbside meal pickup weekly. Meals will be distributed curbside on Tuesdays and will include breakfast and lunch for 7 days.

Weekly meal pick up locations are

Bryceville Elementary 9-9:30 a.m.

Callahan Elementary 9-9:30 a.m.

Fernandina Middle 9:30-10 a.m.

Hilliard Middle-Senior 4-4:30 p.m.

Yulee High 4-4:30 p.m.
