Need a job? More than 1,000 hospitality positions up for grabs in Northeast Florida

NORTHEAST FLORIDA — The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association said Florida’s hospitality industry was hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and has struggled to fill job vacancies since re-opening.

That’s why it is looking to fill over 1,000 open positions in the hospitality industry in northeast Florida.

On Tuesday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be four recruiting events taking place in the Jacksonville area to connect future hospitality employees with restaurants and hotels in the area.

There will be a variety of positions up for grabs, ranging from entry-level to management.

Here are the event locations:
