New selfie museum to open in Jacksonville next month

Jacksonville will soon have another place to capture the perfect photo.

A selfie museum called The Selfie Showroom will officially open its doors in October.

The 2,400 square foot museum will have 20 unique and creative scenes, giving people the opportunity to take amazing photos with their phone or camera, during a 1-hour self-guided experience.

The grand opening will take place on Saturday, Oct. 16 and tickets for entry can be purchased online.

General admission is $28, but if you purchase a ticket before opening day, you can get $5 off using the promo code EARLYBIRD.

The Selfie Showroom is a new business of Carissa Glanton, a popular and former Jacksonville photographer.

It’s located at 9433 Lem Turner Road on Jacksonville’s Northside.
