See the renderings: Plans to redevelop Arlington are in the works

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Plans to redevelop Arlington are in progress.

Local developers have plans to revitalize areas along the Arlington Expressway.

Among those plans would be to turn the vacant and vandalized old FBI building off Arlington Expressway into apartments.

It’s been empty since the FBI moved to the Southside years ago.

But this isn’t the only building developers are hoping to give a major face-lift to.

Developers are planning to turn Town and Country Shopping Center, at University Boulevard, into a new shopping center with apartments.
