Jacksonville police: Missing teen with autism found safe

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE, 5:20 p.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Nathan Garmany has been found safe.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing and endangered teen who has autism.

Nathan Garmany, 17, was last seen near Church and Pearl streets, JSO said.

He was reported missing by family members after walking off during the Martin Luther King Jr. parade.

Nathan is described as having brown eyes and black hair and is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, dark jeans, tan hat and red and black shoes.
