JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update 10:45 p.m.: There is a heavy police presence in Arlington Manor near Justina Road, where a shooting happened around 3:30 p.m.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a woman was shot once on Justina Road and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
JSO doesn’t have any suspect information, but doesn’t believe the two shootings on Justina Road are related.
A viewer who lives in the area told Action News Jax on Facebook they heard a series of what sounded like gunshots before police showed up about five minutes later, including a helicopter.

Original Story: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it responded to a shooting on the 3000 block of Justina Road near Jacksonville University Saturday afternoon.
When officers arrived to the scene of the shooting, they found a male around 30 years of age with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The gunshot victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He told police someone drove by in a red SUV and shot at him. He said he did not have any idea who shot him.
