Shopability Saturday is in full swing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Tonight, the Acosta Bridge and Laura Street in downtown Jacksonville will light up orange in celebration of the Shopability Saturday event.

This event encourages the public to shop at or support businesses that hire individuals with intellectual and developmental differences such as Down syndrome and autism.

There are over 150 inclusive businesses across the Jacksonville area. A map of these businesses can be found here: https://connectablejax.com/shopability/.

This event is the first of its kind in the country specifically centered around inclusive businesses, according to organizers. It will run all day March 6.
