JACKSONVILLE., Fla. — UPDATE: Police in Jacksonville said David Sharp has been found safe.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Jacksonville man who may be driving out of the city, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Saturday morning.
David Sharp, 70, was last seen around 4:30 a.m. in the area of 8200 Sutton Place North, police said.

Sharp reportedly said he was driving to either Panama City or Daytona Beach, Florida. Sharp is said to have Alzheimer’s’ and has not driven a car in a over a year.

Police are looking for him to make sure he is OK. JSO said he may be driving a 2011 light blue, 4-door, Toyota Scion with the Florida tag 8004YI similar to the above picture.
He is 6 feet tall and weighs 260 pounds. He has blue eyes and salt and pepper hair. Police did not provide what he was last seen wearing.
