State Attorney drops charges against 15 protesters during Jacksonville’s first George Floyd protest

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The State Attorney’s Office declined to file charges against 15 of the 25 protesters arrested during Jacksonville’s first George Floyd protest.

This comes a month after 48 charges were dropped by the state attorney.

According to the State Attorney’s Office, the arrests occurred Saturday, May 30. The office has reviewed the arrests, booking reports and videos from the day and decided to decline to file charges on 15 cases.
