Winn-Dixie, Harvey’s issues recall for dog food sold locally

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Whiskers and Tails dog food distributed to all Harvey’s Supermarkets in Florida and Georgia and select Winn-Dixie stores in North and West Florida, South Georgia, and Alabama have been recalled due to the presence of aflatoxin in the product above an acceptable level.

If a customer still has the product, Southeastern Grocers says they should throw it away or return it to any store for a full refund.

The recall was issued voluntarily by Southeastern Grocers, according to the company.

The product came from the Baldwin Distribution Center.

The affected product and corresponding UPC code is below: Whiskers & Tails Adult Recipe Complete Dog Food – 17lb bag – 2114003022
