Elton John coming back to Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — If you missed seeing Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road performance in March, you have one more chance to see him perform live in Jacksonville.

AEG Global Touring has announced Elton John will perform on June 3, 2020,  at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.  John appeared at a sold-out performance on March 15, which was believed to his farewell to NE Florida.

The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour consists of more than 300 shows across five continents, ending in 2021.

“Performing live fuels me and I’m ecstatic and humbled to continue to play to audiences across the globe,” said Elton. “I plan to bring the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades to my final tour. After the tour finishes, I’m very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road. I need to dedicate more time to raising my children.”

Tickets for the June 3, 2020 ,performance go on sale Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m.
