Facebook fight ends with murder, 50 years in prison

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Candace Jackson will be spending the next 50 years in prison.

A judge sentenced Jackson Thursday on charges of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and aggravated battery in the death of her girlfriend's mother.

Investigators said Jackson ran down Shaina Armstrong after their seven-year relationship went sour.  The two had a fight over heated posts from Jackson on Facebook, prosecutors said.

Jackson, according to authorities, drove her SUV into Armstrong, and Armstrong's mother, killing the mother.
