• 72-year-old woman killed, children hurt in Macclenny crash

    MACCLENNY, Fla. - A 72-year-old woman was killed and three people including two children were hurt in a head-on crash in Baker County on Sunday.

    Florida Highway Patrol said Shirley Ann Norman, 72, was driving a Chevy Spark west on Woodlawn Road around 10:30 a.m. when she veered into the path of an oncoming car.

    Two children, ages 4 and 7, and a 43-year-old adult were injured when her car collided with their Toyota Avalon.

    Another child in the car was not hurt in the crash. 

    FHP said Norman was not wearing a seatbelt.
