FHP: Driver killed after vehicle overturns and collides with a tree on Doctors Lake Dr.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 26-year-old man was killed after his vehicle overturned and collided with a tree on Doctors Lake Dr. Saturday afternoon.

The FHP release stated that at 5:57 p.m., a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling southbound on Doctors Lake Dr.

The driver of the Ford Escape reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway to the left.

The vehicle then overturned and collided with a tree.

The 26-year-old driver of the Ford Escape was transported to Orange Park Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
