A Jacksonville man was killed in a crash on an onramp to I-295 Friday, troopers said.
Joshua Holloway, 37, was getting onto I-295 southbound from Roosevelt Boulevard just before 7 p.m. Friday when troopers say he lost control of his car on the onramp.
Holloway crossed the median and drove into the path of a tractor trailer that was southbound on I-295, troopers said.
The tractor trailer hit Holloway's 2000 Infiniti Q45, fatally injuring him, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
A third car traveling southbound on I-295 was also damaged in the crash.
Troopers are still investigating what caused Holloway to lose control of his car.
