A 23-year-old Orange Park man was killed and two other people were hurt Wednesday in a crash on U.S. 90, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said there was dense fog in the area when Francisco Rodrigue-Alamo veered into oncoming traffic near Possum Trot Road in Baker County.
FHP said he was driving a white 2006 Honda Civic westbound around 5:30 a.m. when it crossed into the path of a 2014 Chrysler 300 traveling eastbound.
Troopers said the two cars collided, causing the Chrysler 300 to overturn onto its roof.
Rodrigue-Alamo was killed and the driver of the Chrysler 300 and passenger had minor injuries after the crash, according to FHP.
Troopers are investigating.
