First Alert Weather: Breezy, partly sunny Monday, a few showers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — WATCH LIVE: Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh has your First Alert forecast all morning long on FOX30.

Partly sunny skies today with a few brief showers moving off the Atlantic. It will still be breezy with northerly winds at 10-15 mph. Highs will make it to the upper 80s inland.

Tuesday will be hot with highs in the lower 90s inland and 80s at the coast. Onshore winds pick up midweek and help bring in a few coastal showers. High temperatures will be knocked back down to the mid to upper 80s.

TROPICS:

Hurricane Humberto is moving away from the U.S. this morning and is forecast to be near Bermuda early Thursday. High surf and rip currents will continue at our local beaches today.

A tropical wave in the Western Gulf tracks westward over the next day. This will likely not develop and will have no impact on Florida. A tropical wave in the Central Atlantic will track closer to the Lesser Antilles over the coming days with slow development possible.
