First Alert Weather: There's a full moon and warm temperatures this weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — WATCH LIVE: Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh has your weekend forecast all morning long on FOX30 and CBS47

A pleasant evening is expected following a gorgeous day across the area. It's been dry with breezy northeast winds keeping temps near 80 at the coast with mid to upper 80s inland. Tonight will be partly cloudy to mostly clear. Most areas stay dry and cool to the upper 50s and low 60s but an isolated coastal shower can't be ruled out with temps closer to 70.
After a cool start to Saturday, afternoon temps will be slightly warmer with low 80s at the coast and mid 80s inland. An isolated coastal shower looks possible especially early. Most areas, especially inland stay dry. A dry but even warmer day is expected Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. It will be dry and warm for the JAGS game. Onshore winds become a little lighter this weekend allowing seas to fall to 3-5 ft with surf at 2-4. Rip current risk will be moderate to high.
Temps stay warm, in the mid to upper 80s until our next front arrives Wednesday. That is our next best shot at some rain.

This storm will continue tracking east and northeast tonight lessening coastal impacts for New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Melissa is expected to lose subtropical characteristics by tomorrow night.  Otherwise, we are not tracking any areas of immediate concern.
