First Alert Weather: Isolated showers, breezy and mild temps.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Isolated brief showers will occur before sunset otherwise breezy with pleasant temperatures overnight.  Lows will fall to the low to mid 60s inland to the low 70s at the beaches where a high rip current risk continues.

Friday will be pleasantly warm under partly sunny skies with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s.

Expect a warming trend with mainly dry weather through the weekend..

TROPICS: We are tracking an area of low pressure over the Northwest Atlantic that's likely to remain nontropical but will produce gusty winds, heavy rain and rough seas/surf for New England.  Otherwise the tropics are quiet over the Atlantic while a typhoon in the West Pacific heads for Japan.
