First drive-in concert in Jacksonville scheduled for October

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For a Jacksonville’s first, a drive-in concert will be hosted in Lot J in October.

The concert will be headlined by Jon Pardi, an award-winning artist/songwriter/producer. His album, Heartache Medication, was nominated for ACM Album of the Year and CMA Album of the Year in 2020.

Guests will be allowed to tailgate next to their cars and bring food, drinks, and chairs. Parking will be first come, first served within each price level. Face masks will be required when people are not inside their cars or designated tailgate area. Physical distancing measures will be enforced.

“We couldn’t be more excited to play the first-ever live drive-in concert in Jacksonville,” Jon Pardi said in a press release. “We are ready to be back on the road, performing for our fans and putting on a safe and healthy show. Grab your friends, pack up your coolers and hop in your car. We can’t wait to see you there!”

Tickets will be available to purchase per car, with a maximum capacity limited to the number of seatbelts per vehicle. VIP Presales begin Friday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. until Sunday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. Venue presales will take place Monday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. here.

The concert will be on October 10 starting at 7:30 p.m.
